Outpatient clinics
Dr Selinger offers specialist gastroenteroloy consultations to patients in Leeds. He is available for new and follow-up consultations. Dr Selingers offers care for the whole breadth of Gastroenterology. His areas of interest and expertise are Reflux disease / dyspepsia, Nutrition, Functional bowel disorders / irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease and
Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Endoscopy
Dr Selinger provides endoscopy for private patients at . Endoscopy covers examination such as gastroscopy sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy. A flexible camera is used to inspect and/or treat the patient's intestinal tract. These test are provided to patients with local anaesthetic and/or conscious sedation,
Gastroscopy is an examination of the oesophagus (foodpipe), stomach and the first part of the small bowel (duodenum). More information
Sigmoidoscopy is an examination of the last third of the large bowel. More information
Colonoscopy is an examination of the whole of the large bowel. More information
Dr Selinger is a British trained endoscopist and has full accreditation for diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy. He has practised independent endoscopy since 2008. He provides excellent technical skills but also focuses on patient comfort. He realises that many patient find the thought of endoscopies stressful. Keeping the patient at ease and well informed at all steps is therefore a very important part of his practise.
